We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to explore the world of music. That’s why we’re excited to partner with schools to offer our Instrument Rental Events, designed to make music education accessible and fun for all. With affordable rental plans and rewarding terms, parents and students can confidently embark on their musical journey without the burden of high upfront costs. We make it easy for students and parents (and directors) to get squared away on their instrument rentals! We offer several different set up models for these rental events depending on what works best for your school and students.
Hosting a Music Makers Rental Event at your school not only supports your music program but also fosters a lifelong love of music in your students. We handle everything from setup to cleanup, making it easy for you to provide this valuable opportunity to your families. Plus, we offer ongoing support and maintenance for all rented instruments, ensuring they remain in top condition throughout the school year. Choose what works for your program!
Same Day Take Home
We will bring our rental fleet with us to your rental event! Students can sign up to rent an instrument and leave that night with the instrument in hand. This requires a significant amount of space for our set up, but can be very beneficial in the right settings!
School Drop Off
Students attending the rental event will sign up for rentals with Music Makers but will walk away hassle free. Our Music Advocate will then schedule a time to drop off all rentals for your students before the first Band Class.
Online Rentals
Don't have a time that works for an in person rental? Pass out our QR quick rental cards or include the link in an email and you can be sure your students will get exactly what you want them to have. We will customize what your students can choose from when they start an online rental!
When is it Time to Upgrade to an Intermediate Instrument?
After students have learned and played on a beginner level instrument for a few years, it might be time for them to step-up to an intermediate level instrument. This upgrade will give them a better sound as well as greater playability!
Setting up a Step-Up Event at your school will give students a great opportunity to take advantage of discounted prices, interest free financing, and rental credit transfers through our Rent+ instrument rental program (not to mention increase the production quality of your band!)
Please note that these events are not high pressure! We simply want to educate students and parents on the benefits of intermediate and professional level instruments. If they are interested in purchasing, we love to give great discounts and provide great financing options!
