About Music Makers: Music Makers envisions making music accessible to as many students as possible, providing them with a source of fun and relief from the pressures of daily life. Our goal is to deliver music education that resonates with students, utilizing technology and contemporary teaching tools to convey timeless musical knowledge in fresh, engaging ways. Our services range from private music lessons, to new and used instrument sales, all types of accessories, affordable instrument rentals, and full service instrument repairs and cleaning.

Music Makers lessons are designed to take advantage of cutting edge technology through learning software, apps, games and strategies that reflect what we know about how the brain learns.  We combine the value of 1 on 1 instruction with fun activities that help absorb and play out the technique and information we are desiring to impart. Music has emotion and movement so we strive to use outside the box creative learning tools to help our students be successful.

We are creating an atmosphere where teachers love their jobs and inspire a lifelong love of music in students while equipping them with the skills and knowledge to thrive as Music Makers. We want teachers that are passionate about music and teaching with creativity. Any range of experience is considered; we will train you to use new scientific strategies, based on how the brain learns, and technology to make learning fun and comprehensive. We are currently looking for teachers for Cello and Double Bass.

Responsibilities: Teachers will be expected to maintain communication with parents and students, routinely lesson plan using creative methods that adapt to what the student needs, continue learning new teaching methods, collaborate with other teachers, monitor the online learning management system for their students, and keep accurate records of lessons and student progress.

Pay Range: $30-$58 per hour, depending on experience.
